Charles Douglas Pearce

SAVANNAH – Charles Douglas Pearce, age 50, died on October 29, 2009 at Candler Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Pearce was a 1977 graduate of Savannah High School. He had been employed in many fields and was lately employed by Osmose Utilities, Inc.
Mr. Pearce is survived by his father, Charles W. Pearce, and step-mother, Edna A. Pearce; his mother, Bettina B. Beecher, and step-father, Denver Combes; his brother, J. Scott Pearce, his sister-in-law, Sharon D. Pearce, and his nephew, Jeffrey S. Pearce, Jr. Also surviving are two uncles and two aunts.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
